Little Bear Living-History Camp
October 2006
. . . Explore Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Highlands with "Little Bear" as our guide to such historic sites as forts and battlefields of the French and Indian War. . . . Journey back through time with "Little Bear's" historic teaching and dramatic portrayals of God's Providence. . . . Enjoy demonstrations of Colonial heritage crafts such as candle making, soap making, weaving, and more by our living-history team. . . . Relax in the comfort of Colonial-style lodges, family-size cottages, and spacious historic meeting halls of Jumonville Christian Camp's premiere accommodations. . . . Recapture the essence of Colonial chivalry and etiquette during the special presentation and instruction of the family-centered Historic Dance Society. And with a message for all times, we will be encouraged greatly by the ministry of our co-host and director, Mark Holden, as he teams up with "Little Bear" sharing messages from his dynamic Releasing the Arrow Family Conference, a ministry designed to strengthen and equip families facing the challenges of releasing adult children into Christ-honoring adulthood. Messages by Pastor Mark include: The Power of a Father’s Blessing ~
Living with Adult Children in the Home ~ Letting Go: The Difference between Sons and Daughters ~ a Courtship Panel Discussion ~ with time for Q & A. |
