Teenage Mutant Teenagers
by Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler

This message addresses a perspective that is often overlooked in church youth ministry. With his background experience years ago as a youth pastor, "Little Bear" began to recognize the shortcomings and even dangers of peer-related "traditional" youth groups. With all the hype and pressure of church youth group ministries in today's "teen culture," this message is of utmost importance in offering an alternative to parents of young adults.

Living with Your Adult Children in the Home
by Mark Holden

The natural process of maturing brings a child into adulthood. How does a family function when the children of the household are now adults with their own decision-making power? This session will address the dynamics of a healthy relationship between adult children and their parents, all ministering from under the same roof.

Keepers of the Home
by Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler

From the heart of a pastor and committed father, Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler offers insights on how to fulfill the biblical mandate of training our daughters to be Keepers of the Home—their future home—while protecting the hearts of our ladies-in-waiting. "Little Bear" will offer some alternatives of continued education and Christian service for a gift "far above rubies".... "that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace" (Psalm 144:12b). Suitable for all ages—especially young adults and parents.

Mission Possible - Seek and Find
by Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler

After observing an alarming trend in the home school community, Evangelist/Historian Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler offers a challenging, yet practical strategy for families to regain a biblical balance in preparing their sons for what could be the most life-encompassing decision a young person will ever make. Key topics discussed include: Seeking the Lord First for a Godly Help Meet; Finding the Balance of God's Design for Marriage; Hyper-cautious Courtship that Tends to Immobilize; and The Fourfold Biblical Strategy for Finding the Wife of Your Youth.

Letting Go: The Difference Between Sons and Daughters
by Mark Holden

God's defined role for men is different than that for women. That difference impacts the approach taken in releasing a son as compared to releasing a daughter. This session will explore the Scriptures in order to discern those implications.

The Power of a Father's Blessing
by Mark Holden

Fathers have been given authority by God to speak blessing and affirmation into the lives of their children. The transformation from childhood to adulthood is dynamically impacted by appropriate use of the spoken word. This session will research biblical examples and principles to more fully equip fathers to speak blessing into their children in preparation to release them into their place in Christ's kingdom.

Letting Our Children Fly the Coop
by Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler

After having been on the speaking circuit for over 25 years, Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler shares a heart to heart talk about an alarming pattern within the homeschool community. Parents who have invested a lifetime of instilling biblical principles in their children are left perplexed and totally devastated by a grown son or daughter who chooses to reject those values. The question is: How can we head-off the heartache of rejection, rebellion, and runaways? Or, better stated: How can we retain the heart of our children—especially during the young adult years—and still prepare them for "flying the coop" with our blessing? Borrowing from scriptural concepts of adulthood, "Little Bear" offers a biblical approach to parental responsibilities involving "growing adults God's way."

Real Life Courtship: Let's Be Honest
Panel Discussion: Moderated by Mark Holden

Parents and young adults who have experienced the effort to reshape the process by which to secure a spouse share lessons from their experiences in an attempt to prepare others for the blessings and challenges that lie ahead.
